Independent

As independent financial advisers (IFAs), we can access every financial product available, in order to make the right recommendation for you. Note that many other advisers are restricted to a limited panel of providers, even those who are called ‘whole of market’ advisers. Yes, we know it’s confusing, but that’s the current industry jargon. By contrast, you can be sure that we’re truly independent, as shown by the IFA logo below.

Personable

You have to choose an IFA you can trust with your finances. Our fully qualified team comprises former business advisers from national banks, but we didn’t like their hard-sell approach so we set up Prospect Tree to offer more authentic guidance and advice. The team may not be blood relations, but we have worked together for years and operate with the ethos of a small, family business. If you like the sound of that, we look forward to meeting you.

Holistic approach

We meet at your home or in our offices to uncover your current situation and find out what you want to achieve. We then assess your priorities, shop around the whole market (remember, we’re totally independent) and present you with a report showing our recommendations. In general, we first act to help protect what you’ve got, then we look to plan for your future.

Cost Transparency

To save you time and reduce the risk of making expensive mistakes, you can depend on our financial expertise and advice about what to do with your money. Paying us is simple. We’ll quote a clear fee upfront, with no hidden charges, so you always know where you stand. We’ve chosen to work this way since 2009 (because we think it’s fairer), and it became industry standard at the end of 2012.

Our clients

Our clients comprise individuals and businesses, based throughout London, Kent and the southeast. We have advisers in South London, Beckenham and Ashford.

Regulated by the FCA

For compliance purposes, we are an appointed representative of TenetConnect Services Limited. That means we follow the ‘Treating Customers Fairly’ rules and regulations set out by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) – formerly known as the Financial Services Authority (FSA) – to give you the best possible service and advice. To be honest, we always exceeded those minimum guidelines anyway, and always will!

For your reassurance, you’ll find us listed on the FCA register and Unbiased.co.uk.
